Safe Use Guidelines
Ensuring the well-being of your little one is our utmost priority. Therefore, we have compiled a set of guidelines to help you and your baby stay safe. Please remember that baby nests are not intended for night time sleep. Furthermore, baby nests should only be used under adult supervision. If your baby happens to fall asleep in a baby nest, we recommend transferring them to a safe sleep environment such as a cot or bassinet that meets safety standards.
01. Opt for a Minimalist Approach
When in use, keep blankets and pillows away from your BabyPod at all times. To avoid suffocation risks, it is crucial to keep blankets, pillows, and other objects away from your BabyPod. Similarly, the pod itself should not be placed in a cot, bassinet, or play yard, which are meant to be kept free from obstructions.
02. Position Baby on Their Back
Always place your baby on their back when using your BabyPod, except during tummy time. When your baby is lying on their back, they can safely enjoy visual stimulation.
03. Maintain Supervision
Keep a close eye on your baby when they are in your BabyPod. Leaving a baby unattended can lead to unexpected moments of movement or crawling out of the pod. BabyPods do not have high sides like a bassinet, play yard, or cot to confine your baby.
04. Choose a Stable Surface
Only place the pod on a firm, flat, and stable surface that prevents any potential of your baby from falling. The pod is versatile and can be easily used in various locations, however always ensure that it is placed on the floor or another stable surface during use.
05. Do NOT Carry Your Baby in The Pod
Do not carry your baby while they are in the pod. Although pods are portable, they are not designed for carrying your baby. If you need to transport your baby, pick them up out of the pod first.
07. Promote Tummy Time
BabyPod is an ideal spot for your baby to engage in active tummy time. During tummy time, it is crucial to closely supervise your baby. Place your baby near the head of the pod with their arms over the edge. Never place your baby on their tummy for lounging.
08. Read the Warnings
Take a few minutes to carefully read the warning label. Our warning labels contain vital information intended to safeguard your baby. Please invest the time to read, comprehend, and follow these warnings. They can be found on all our baby nests.
09. Sleep in Designated Areas
For naps and overnight sleep, place your baby in a cot, bassinet, or play yard. Babies can fall asleep almost anywhere you put them. If your baby happens to fall asleep in your BabyPod, promptly move them to an approved sleep environment, such as a cot or bassinet.
